Unexpected equivalences—between predator drones and green screens, disco balls and hellfire missiles, singing contests and war zones—often lie at the heart of my research-based practice. Poised between the real and the fictive, at the intersection of military theory, mass media, video gaming, and insurgency, my work investigates the complex ways in which visibility and power interact.

Queer Survival Guide (2020)
Using AI-generated imagery, the project draws parallels between the queer community’s ability to adapt, evolve, and survive a pandemic at the macro scale and the coronavirus’s own processes of mutation, adaptation, and survival.
